A lot of these definitions are ridiculously long. If the definition of a term is more than a sentence or two, there should be a wiki page containing said overly long definition. This page should link to the longer definitions.
In regards to Wikipedia licensing, it is NOT public domain. WP is LGPL, and a good percentage of the content in wikimedia is even less permissibly licensed. There is a huge difference between public domain and the LGPL.

This page needs a lot of work. In particular, as this seems to be a collection plate of all kinds of terminology, it will eventually grow to an unmanageable size and need to be split to subcategories. Software, Formats, Containers belong together, but OGM and MKV don't belong in the same article as shounen, or chibi. As other wikis, notably wikipedia, are free and in the public domain, it is fundamentally permissible that information be copied from there to here (or vice versa) wholesale, with editing appropriate to adhere to this particular wiki's purpose.

Some TL;DR Definitions
A lot of these definitions are ridiculously long. If the definition of a term is more than a sentence or two, there should be a wiki page containing said overly long definition. This page should link to the longer definitions.
In regards to Wikipedia licensing, it is NOT public domain. WP is LGPL, and a good percentage of the content in wikimedia is even less permissibly licensed. There is a huge difference between public domain and the LGPL.
